Design Inspiration: Life's Better in Portland
One of the themes I designed for this years Fall / Winter Collection is called Life’s Better in Portland. I thought it would be cool to share the inspiration behind the design with you. It comes from this vintage St. Thomas t-shirt we’ve had in our family for years. The ink’s faded, the cotton’s thin and it’s coming apart at the seams. The graphic is a mixed bag of free hand illustration and geometrical design. There’s a nostalgic value along with a story of time and place I love about it. What will you remember about life in Portland 20 years from now?
